Alpine skiing · Innlandet
Norway’s largest ski resort, with a direct bus from Oslo.
Trysil wraps lifts around three sides of a single mountain near the Swedish border. With 67 pistes and 42 lifts it is the biggest alpine resort in the country, and the direct express bus makes it the easiest large resort to reach without a car.
Why it is a winter thing: Lift-served skiing is a winter-only operation.
Late November to mid or late April. Lifts close at 15:30 until early February because of the short days.
