A quiet mountain-hotel resort with alpine and cross-country in one place.
Skeikampen is a traditional mountain resort north-west of Lillehammer with around 20 km of alpine runs and some 200 km of groomed cross-country trails that link into the Peer Gynt network. It is calmer and cheaper than the big-name resorts.
Why it is a winter thing: Both the lifts and the trail network depend on snow.
