Alpine skiing · Buskerud
A proper ski hill you can reach by train, in an old silver-mining town.
Kongsberg Skisenter sits on the edge of a historic silver town south-west of Oslo. With around ten slopes it is small enough to learn on and big enough to fill a day, and you can pair it with the town’s mining history.
Why it is a winter thing: A lift-served hill that only runs while there is snow.
Typically early December to mid-April. It sits lower than the mountain resorts, so check conditions in mild winters.
Full-day lift pass.
