Christmas at Hadeland Glassverk

Hadeland Glassverk has been making glass on the shore of Randsfjorden since the 1760s. Before Christmas the old works turns into a village of markets and workshops: you can blow your own Christmas bauble, dip candles and take the children on a sleigh ride to meet Santa.

Why it is a winter thing: The glassworks is open all year, but the Christmas market, sleigh rides and bauble-blowing run only before Christmas.

When to go

From early November until 23 December, open daily (weekdays 10–16, weekends 11–17 in 2025).
